Dear All,
One of our client in the area of Logistics operations was paying Rent to Krishnapatnam Port. Gross Rent is Rs.59000 per month which is above the ceiling limit. But the KPCL says they are not supposed to be deducted TDS. Can any of you please clarify.

Since it is a port, ask them to provide a circular which states that TDS is not to be deducted from rent. The nature of rent or services hired from the port also to be considered.
