Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) implications when purchasing residential property, especially with co-owners. The primary concern is how to correctly file Form 26QB when the property is jointly owned by a husband and wife. It is advised to file two separate Form 26QB applications, one for each co-owner, to comply with regulations. If TDS has already been paid incorrectly on a single form, rectifying the mistake can be difficult, though edits might be possible before payment is finalised.

1. Advisable to file two form 26QB, one each by purchaser/s.

2. Not rectifiable.

Mr. Parmar,

You can file two form  of 26QB, each person to hold asset, and you are file form 26QB  cannot rectified but, your payment has not been done  you can edit a form.
