Dear All,
We have recieved a bill for paving block installed for our parking. They have charged GST of 28%. I would like to know we need to deduct the tds on the same. Bill value is more than 1,00,000/-

Yes... Deduct u/s 194C @ 1% / 2%
single sum paid RS.30000(TDS 1%of sum) or aggregate of sums paid during the financial year Rs.1lakh ( Rs.75000upto31/5/2016)( TDS 2%of sum paid).

If Individual @ 1%
If Partnership @ 2%
If Partnership @ 2%
Can any one tell me why paving blocks are need to be deducted the TDS? Under what circumstances?
