We( An education Society) are paying about INR150000 directly to THE HINDU for Subscripttion charges of Newspaper for our MBA and BCOM Students. These payments are made quarterly or something like that.
Dear Expert, Kindly advice me about the TDS liablity on such payments

As per my view a sale is happening there and physical transfer of goods is also happening. Hence Sale in Nature. Then How TDS can be imposed?
Kindly share any article regading the case in 194 C. I have searched in Google, but most of theam are to E journal subscriptttion.
