As per circular 4/ 28.4.2008, TDS on lease rent should be calculated exclusive of service tax. A company has leased property but the TDS has been deducted incl. of Service Tax. What is the impact of the same for the lessor? does this impact the income?

as per my opinion it will not have impact on the income of the lessor. sublject to, amount deducted (including ST) should have been deposited properly and return has been filled.
