last date of tds was 07.04.10. in case of tds of contractor sub contractor. in case a local contractor submit bill on 08.04.10 being bill month of march 2010. it is required to vouched in march-2010. if we vouch this bill in march how can we deduct tds on same bill because last date of deposit of tds is over and we received bill after due date of tds. please suggest..................................

Dear Abhishek,
First dont call it as Last date of deposit of TDS Since it gives impression as if TDS cannot be deposited after 7th.
It is a Due Date & TDS can be deposited after due date along with a interest. No problems in that.
Now coming to ur specific query again the question is not correct since Due date of deposit of TDS deducted on 31st MArch is 31st May .
TDS can be deposited after 31st May also only thing is Interest will be charged.
