Dear Sirs/Madam,
I am working as research scholar and drawing a Senior Research Fellowship which is 23400/- per month. In due course of time from this earning I have saved some amount and fixed in the bank. On the maturity of the amount bank has deducted TDS. Can the money decducted be returned back to me as I have heared that the TDS is not applicable on the amount received in the form of fellowship. If it is so, what is the procedure to get the amount return back?
