sir, my friend is a NRI and TDS has deducted U/S 195, whether such TDS is refundable? which ITR is to be fill? he is A NRI..

TDS has been deducted by STAR UNION DAI-ICHI LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED.

i think it is TDS deducted from other income. TDS is deducted at the rate of 30 % by STAR UNION DAI-ICHI LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED. 

In such case whether such TDS is refundable or not? he is A NRI..

Please do the needfull.

The exact source of income required to file return. NRI can file return, offer to tax any taxable income earned in India, and if any excess amount of tax deducted, can be asked for refund.
