I am a salaried person, my employer has deducted tds for FY 2018-19 in 12 July 2019.
-When this amount will get updated in my 26 as?
-If no then can I claim this tds in my return.

it will take 3 to 5 business days to get credited in 26AS. you can't claim until your 26AS has credit balance.

If your taxable income is less due to other things or not claiming benefits under section 80, then you can claim refund of excess Income tax you already paid via tds

That means it will get updated even if deductor does not show in tds return

if we think practically, he will pay tds to govt on 7th of following month from the month in which TDs has deducted. as you said your employer has deducted 12th July that means he will pay in Aug 7th. so you will get credited in Aug only i guess. this is my opinion only. hope it helps.

you will get the data of your TDS in 26 AS only after the filling of TDS return of 2nd qtr in October 2019.

You should file your return as per existing entries in 26AS before due date and pay taxes, further when your employer file tds return your 26 AS will be updated then you may revise your return and claim refund.
