I got a notice from TDS ward (16) I . As per notice we made the payment to concern. but still amount shows in default(TDS). What are the necessary steps to clear the defaults. Defaults was paid two months ago. Please clarify.

Login to Tin-NSDL website and download the default details.

We already downloaded the default details, the amount of the same has been paid to the department. After that also showing in defaulters list. please clarify.
Do not worry, it will still appear under default details unless they process the TDS returns once again. Have you revised TDS return after depositing amount?

Revised TDS revised return not been done.
Just revise your TDS Return. That is sufficient.
there would be mistake in Parties Pan No. you have to revised e-TDS return with Correct Pan No.
