Tds deduction for purchase of books

Sir, we have purchase books of worth Rs 518000/- for NEET coaching centre , my question is whether we have deducted TDS for the said amount . If so what is the percentage . please guide me

No there is no any requirement in Income Tax Act to deduct TDS on purchase of books

There is no requirement for deduction of tax on such transaction.

Please let us know that if we purchased online e-books in any institute then should we deduct TDS from the payment ?
