Tds chellan - wrong asst year mentioned

Dear Friends,

One of my client has mentioned a wrong asst. year (AY 2012-13 instead of AY 2013-14) while depositing the TDS in to the bank during the month September 2012.

What is the remedy to rectify this ?

If anybody has experience like this, please share with me.

The Assesse can modify the assessement year before the date of payment made with in a week.

Concern the bank  where the payment made & ask them to modify the assessment year
