TDS challan excess paid

Quick Summary
Excess TDS paid in a challan can generally be adjusted in subsequent TDS returns or future liabilities. Alternatively, it may be claimed as a refund. However, proper usage depends on TRACES validation, correct assessment year, and compliance with TDS utility rules to avoid errors in return filing.

I already do it practically, so no doubt in it.
If Tds deduction is made today then you have time till 7th of July for Tds payment.

Is there any meaning for tds with back date .

So adjustment has to be done from traces and not from Tds regular statement
We can do so even if it is back date challan. Just call helpdesk and ask them we have fill wrong assessment year in challan.

You will get the reply that challan of one year before and one year after can be used in regular TDS statement.
First check from Tds utility
Did you read my comments, I already said that I have done it .
