I have recd a TDS certificate for AY 2009-10 but there is no credit in 26AS .
Requested the Deductor to rectify his TDS return but he is not co-operating.
What is to be done ? As I have recd a demand notice from my Assessing Officer

You say you have received a Form 16A. Then what details they have exhibited in the fields of deposit ie bank code, challan number, date etc.
Secondly, you write to the jurisdictional TDS ward Officer of deductor and your AO explaining the situation with a copy of 16A and 26AS. Request the AO to stay the demand.
