What to do in case of tds paid for A.Y.2017-18 instead A.Y. of 2015-16
Actually while payment of TDS, by mistake wrong A.Y. choosen.
Now how to take in account.
Kindly advice.

Dear Meenu
Please refer to the attached file for the challan correction mechanism.
To put it briefly:
1. If payment was made using physical challan, you can make an application for correction in the AY, to the concerned bank branch manager in the format available in the attached file within 7 days from the challan deposit date.
2. If payment made through online mode or in case of physical challan, after 7 days from the challan deposit date, you have to make an application to the concerend AO.

Dear Expert,
please advice, one of my frd having llb profession. his account is already created by his accountant, but due to some reason, now he has no contact with his accountant, and he has no aadhar card, nd no password of tds site, which was already created by his accountant.
now how can i recover his detail(i.e. userid and password) and i want to continue his return filing,
please advice..
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
