A US company is providing services for an Indian company in India. The US company is maintaining server for the Indian client in US. The US company does not have any branches in India. Do the Indian company needs to deduct TDS? If so why and at what rate?

Yes. TDS is to bededucted u/s 195 @ 10%.

Indian Company needs to deduct TDS @ 10%.... I think it is Sec 195(h).....
