Taxation of interest income from post office savings bank

I understand that interest income from Savings bank account is tax exempt upto Rs. 10000 per annum u/s 80 TTA of the Income Tax Act. Please advise whether interest income from Post Office savings bank a/c would also be tax exempt upto the same amount u/s 80TTA. If not, please advise on the taxation of interest income from saving bank account in PostBank

interest of post office saving bank a/c is exempted upto 3500 above that is taxable.

Thank you for the explanation. Request you to please refer the relevant section. Is it Sec 80 TTA ? If so, is there a specific curve out for Post Office Savings bank from the Rs.10,000 limit of 80 TTA?

Awaitsome more clarification on the same

you can claim deduction of post office saving bank account u/s 10(15) and

interest on saving bank account u/s 80tta upto 10000

So it mean u can claim deduction upto 13500
you can claim deduction of post office saving bank account u/s 10(15) upto 3500 and 

interest on saving bank account u/s 80tta upto 10000 

So it mean you can claim total deduction of 13500
