On discussion with one of my friends i have got confused.........
The A.Y applicable in Nov 2010 exams is 2010-11 and as per that the tax slabs should be 160000-300000... and so on........
but as per my knowledge in the exams, ammended tax slab of 160000-500000 should be applicable..........
Please give ur valuable suggestions for my query................also the link of the ammendments applicable in nov. 2010 exams if available with you............

so 160000-300000 slabs are only applicable.

AY 2010-2011 amendments will only be applicable for the november'10 exams..ie-160000-300000/- 10% rate,300000-500000/- 20% & above 500000/- 30% rate
