Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the recent changes in GST regulations affecting brick manufacturers. Previously under the composition scheme, a firm had to switch to the regular scheme as brick manufacturers are now ineligible. A new 6% tax rate is mentioned for cases without Input Tax Credit (ITC), but the GSTR1 return form currently lacks the option to select this rate. Guidance is sought on how to proceed, with suggestions to check for 'special rate' options and await portal updates.
