person is liable to get registered on 1.8.17 but he applied for reg after 30 days I. e. on 1.9.17 nd he get registration on 15.9.17 so his date of reg will be 15.9.17. .now my question is whether he can collect tax during 1.8.17 to 14.9.17? And if yes then how he can issue tax invoice without reg number?

dear arun

in this scenario for the time interval 1.9-15.09 assesse will first issue simple invoice & then after 15.09 he can issue 'revised invoice' within one month of reg. revised invoice act as tax invoice & itc would be available to buyer

Mam in that simple invoice whether I can collect tax? or will it be a inclusive type of invoice

Dear Arun in simple invoice you have no authority to charge tax separately

do we need to generate invoice 'online' from the gst portal, even if we are doing so serially?

no that is not compulsory, only a faciliy. you have to generate only e -way bill online

Mam is it mandatory to revise those invoices?

no not mandatory

ok mam...bcz I was of the view that if I issue simple invoice earlier then why that dealer would allow me to revise that invoice nd issue tax inovice instead.
