Hi, 

If land is sold will there be any tax levied?

I am not able to find if LTCG is applicable on sale of agricultural land inside a municipality and what is the maximum amount after which tax is applicable. Please help.

yes , capital gain tax based on holding period either ltcg or stcg will be attracted
