Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) should be applied to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) portion of an invoice. The consensus is that TDS is only applicable to the base value of the goods or services, excluding GST and any other taxes. For example, on an invoice of £11,800 including £1,800 GST, TDS should be calculated solely on the £10,000 base amount.

No TDS only for sales value.
eg: Gross Invoice 10000
GST 18% 1800
Total Invoice value 11800.
we need to deduct TDS only for 10000
TDS on amount before GST amount. That is on Invoice amount as reduced by GST as per invoice
Correct
Tds is calculated on pre gst value and other taxes , that is on basic value .
