Can any one please tell me whether Semi-Qualified CA's( CA Inter passed) can practice as Tax Consultants (Income tax, Service tax & VAT) in India. Please let me know the procedure for setting up a practice as Tax Consultant in Hydeabad

Only Lawyers are authorised the word 'tax consultant'. You can practise as a normal consultant but mind it you dont have certificate of practise so you can not take any assignment requiring Report from a professional like CA in Tax audit report
