On consideration of representations recd from across the country,CBDT has decided to extend the due date for filing of ITRs & Tax Audit Reports from 30th Sep,2019 to 31st of Oct,2019 in respect of persons whose accounts are required to be audited.Formal Notification will follow.

of course... We saw the tweet yesterday night around 11.30 PM, when we were finalising a company accounts.However no Notification issue d by department till now...

What about Hsg Soci, Trusts ??
So far as extension is concerned upto 31-10-2019 actual notification is yet awaited.
Right now it is presumed that extension is only for 44AB Wala assesses.
Let's hope it turns out to be for all those whose due date is 30-9-2019
