Tax audit

Stat Audit 884 views 5 replies

Recently I have started my own practice in partnership...

We have got firm name approval and even we have applied for Form-18...

So waiting for FRN Number and it will take 20 to 25 days more...

We have COP and Membership number as well...

Can we do tax audit in the capacity of Individual CAs before we get FRN Number?

Please help...

Yes, you can conduct tax audit once you have got your Membesrship number and COP.

Frn number is given as when your firm is registered by icai in its record and dat is a matter between A CA and ICAI.

Wait for other members to comment on issue raised.

agreed with tushar as on the audit report you will be putting the name of your firm and your own membership number not of the firm.......so go ahead Darshak all the best

I think Darshak Putting FRN was made mandatory for Statutory Audit Report of Companies....

Not confirmed about Tax Audit of non companies....

Regards

yes you can take up tax audit in your individual name.... with out awaiting for your FRN no....

Thank You Everyone for participation...

Thanx a lot...
