Hi
In tally 9 how can I take a trial balance which shows only the Opening balance.....
If we give date as April 1, it will cover that days' transactions...

provide the date of 31 march
But Navin sir, the books are not kept as continuing...
Each year client is opening new company by inputting the audited figures......
go to the option "DISPLAY" AND then go to "TRIAL BALANCE" AND press "F12" AND type "YES" in show opening balance ...
after the above mentioned procedure, u will be able to see the opening balance...
