tally doubt

first copy the data of tally 7.2 to tally 9 data, and then in  tally 9 folder (usually in C Drive), where you get the migration program open this and then migrate the data

yes dear its simple. you just follow the below given instructions:

right clik the Tally 9 and go to properties options

there you press 'alt+f''/ click on find target.

then in that folder open the notepad file which is indicated with a yellow flower. it looks like a desk calander.

then in that note pad you search for the word data=

then put the path where your data folder is located. or you can copy it from the notepad of tally 7.2

then save the file. n start it in tally 9

BUT YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE CONSEQUENSE ONCE U HAVE TRANSFERRED THE DATA TO A HIGHER VERSION U CAN NOT TRANSFER THE DATA MODIFIED IN HIGHER VERSION BACK TO LOWER.
