I am planning to buy Tally silver. But my laptop has no cd/dvd drive. Will I would be able to install and do tally in my laptop? Can I transfer all data of tally after six month in a desktop.?

You are paying for the license key.
Set-up file can be downloaded from Tally’s website itself and software will be fully operational with the serial number or activation key or license.
Further, you can move the software to another PC. 1st surrender the license from the computer where it is active and reactivate the license in the computer where you want to use it.
