SURRENDER OF DIN

first u have to do kyc of new din which is to be surendered 

and then surrender the same and retain the old one 

We are also facing the same problem:

A director has two DINs one was issued prior to Mar. 31st, 2018 and second was issued after Mar. 31st 2018. When we are filing KYC using DIR-3 form for old DIN, it is showing error message as "PAN number is registered with an active DIN". 

When we are filing DIR-5 for surrender of latest DIN, it is also showing an error message  as "Enter Approved DIN".

We are facing error message from both the options followed in order to rectify the issue of multiple DIN.

Requesting guidance on resolving this issue.
