Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs has notified the Sukanya Samriddhi Account Rules 2016 vide its Notification dated March 18, 2016 [F.No.2/3/2014.NS-II] published in recent Extraordinary Gazette of India which shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette i.e. 18-03-2016. These rules covers following major points:
- Opening of Account
- Deposits.
- Mode of deposit and date of credit.-
- Interest on deposit.
- Operation of Account.
