dear friend, you are planing well in advance thats good , but before starting coaching just keep few things in mind that if you will start coaching from now than the subject that are undergoing change with every budget i.e. direct and indirect taxes will require you extra time and efforts to learn and understand considering this you may always take your decision and good luck for future

Hello Chirag Sir,Even i have the same query in my mind too.I would like to take coaching for two times.......But iam not able to decide from when i should start take coaching for that.....So apart from DT and IDT are there any other subjects for which coaching can be taken from now itself???

i would like to suggest that its better to start coaching 18 months before your attempt. i have considered 12 months to complete the syllabus and you can get 6 months of reading and preparation time and as coaching will complete before 6 month all the amendments would be covered by classses ( i assume please confirm it from your tutor) so there will be balanced time for coaching and self study.... even 2 more months of contingency deducted from study time you will get 4 months and i think it will be sufficient to get subjects revised

Your question is very genuine and It should be discuss in group so, one can conclude their potentials. I am agree who are joining coaching before 2.5 years if exams because there are majorly 3 – 4 subjects that will change so, it’s not good decision.

At the time of joining articleship we are facing new experience of practical life so, it’s normal situation for all of us to handle this kind of situation. We should initiate Final coaching after 9 months of completion of articleship training. And we have 9 to 24 Months (15 months) for 3 practical subject i.e. SFM , Accounts and Costing. In between we can plan for ISCA and theory subjects partly. But, as most of us are prefer theory subjects in last 1 year. Provisions may change.

Presently we should focus on 3 practical subjects and plan our study strategy of these subjects. Seniors are requested to enlight their experience and give suggestions how to crack and deal with subjects.
