The registrar of companies has the right to strike off the name of the companies u/s 8 for the following reasons: a company failing to carry on business for two immediately preceeding financial years, extinguish all liabilities and failure to commence business within one year of incorporation. There are revival processes also. A sriken off company can revive by making an appeal before the NCT. Also, the members of the company can make an application to the tribunal to restore the company's name. There are certain documents that are required for the purpose like directors list, MOA, AOA,signed B/S etc.
