stipend to double: ICAI (TOI and ET) plus its repercussions

The main losers of all this is going to be pcc students like me. Articleship is about to be completed in 10 months(if there isn't extension) and now with this stipend increase, CA is surely gonna extract "full juice" from us. When he paid rs 1000; we had to work as if we were paid 5000; do the calculations yourself, friends.Mathematically speaking, that means more lectures will be missed, more nightouts with macchads under 10% capacity fans,rotten sandwich which the peon brings at CA's order so that his office expense is curtailed to COUNTER THIS INFLATION(just like congress is villain for junta currently; articles will be villain for CAs) and more outstation audit. for those who are doing peon like works at office; the stipend increase is bad for you too. Imagine ur CA saying," Don't make faces when i tell you to pay my laundry bills to Gangu Dhobiwalla;tea exps to Ramuseth; NOW U ARE GETTING AS MUCH PAY AS HARIBHAI, THE OFFICE PEON!"_____________________________________________________________ I am sure , some of my friends must be puzzled while all this and must be thinking,"what does this guy really want?ICAI has increased the stipend?" To them, i wanna say,"ICAI might have increased the fees; but this doesn't make things any good for us pcc students.This will obviously help the new articles from ipcc/pe2.But paying 3000rs pm; the CA will surely make hurdles in my CA final preparations as well in counting my leaves and granting me leaves.To compensate PCC STREAM STUDENTS, I FEEL THAT ICAI SHOULD DECREASE ARTICLESHIP TO 3 YEARS AND MAKE IT EQUAL TO IPCC/PE2 STREAM."__________________________________________________________But there's a twist.Vice prez has said,"proposals is being mooted and will be taken up in new meeting". We all know how student affairs things get passed at council meeting.When transfer was to be banned, it got banned before we could know and protest." 1.Two years back, guys plz hunt times of india; the then BOS chairman at the same city had said that they are gonna launch Advanced ITT training to all final students where we can learn many banking software,project softwares, vat,etc".Where 's the A.ITT? 2. You might say that this time it is VP who is saying. Then also, in student's magazines, the then VP uttam agarwal, the photo album model, had also said this; as well as Ved Jain. 3. Uttam agarwal had said that there's gonna be e-diary.______________________________________________The main difference is the plan and its execution. Can this be executed? The practising members, who vote them to power may not like this.This might make finding articleship more hard for new articles. Imagine a person ; who is hiring 10 cpt pass and they do odd works here and there; now THIS INCREASE MEANS 15000RS MORE PER MONTH.The CA will rather hire a paid assistant"_________________________________________Pls reply with ur analysis.

It will only give an oportunity to CA's to exploit articles more and more.

Plus, amarjit chopra had said that they were gonna release a book to show the new question model on case studies in ca final exams.Where's it? Stipend increase is long overdue. But i don't think; it will double.

Suppose , one work is bungled by you; get ready to be kicked in the rear side.and may be out of office too.

IT seems that the students don't believe icai anymore; even if such announcement is made in Times of India. LOL

What the heck will we do now with this increase(if there is anything like 100% increase),because in little tym many of uswill on the other side,i.e. we will b opposing any increase in stipend,because by then we would be,rather than recieving it,will be paying it. LOL

ICAI has even formed committee to fix minimum fees for the member. And its results will soon come out; and be implemented. And the committee's suggestions for reducing articleship for pcc stream has been suppressed.

hey hi................this is so bad my articleship is gettin over in this september..........i had wrk hard at a stipend of Rs1000 /- and now dey r increasing it this is unfair to us

kya bol rahi ho sister? third year mein bhi 1000 rs. why dont u file complaint with icai?
