i am working as an article in a reputed firm in asansol......west bengal....
but the CA is not providing any stipend.....
he takes rs 750 from us and than issues a cheque for the same every month....
what should i do??
should i take transfer.......
will he give me transfer on my terms and condition....

if you r in first year of articleship than no restriction on transffer
First you required Ample of proofs against your principal then you can take any step otherwise your pricipal will not signature on your tranfer for another firm bcoz that reqiured mutual understanding.However it is a crime and against Clause 67 CA Regulation 1988 (Updated on 2nd Dec 2008).

the minimum stipend is mention in the rules and regulation of ICAI....
so he is liable to pay me.......
i left my work n doing articleship....i have my problems......i need financial support not by my parents....but by virtue of my work....
He is giving the amount as per rules but, that he is taking against the cheque from you and other assistants that is purely agaist the rule.......but you will prove the same against him.
Ye sabki kahani nahi he...........some are giving upto Rs 5000/- and Rs 6000/- to fresh Article Clerks in first year.
if i have transfer and then go for dummy....n join somewhere as paid up.....is this gona work,,

Try for Big 4 as secondment if you ur principal permitted or another big firm in any big city near you.....bcoz it is your second year and not much easy for transfer in second year....
If you have any proof of what you are telling then you can contact ICAI.
but if i take any action against my boss by engaging ICAI in the matter....then there is anything is there in the hand of boss to ruin my career...?
then whats the remedy for it??

Aryan ji ,let me know whether he has maintained attendence record of yours ?
if yes , then please take a copy of your attendence record promptly ,& then after that make complaint against chartered accountant .
let me tell you , as per new provisions you cannot take transfer in the absebse of valid grounds , moreover transfer is allowed only out of the radius of 40 km from your current place .
for taking transfer , an application for request for transfer will be required to be sent to the president of ICAI for his consent .
therefore i would like to suggest you to go to the nearest branch of EIRC & tell them the whole story , but remember , you must take a copy of your attendence , because it is very important evidence .
even if you want to take transfer , the copy of your attendence register will be very important .
one of mine friends was working as aticle in kolkata but now he is transfrred to delhi....??
now he is in delhi...working as an article there...
