Quick Summary
A university student earning income from home tuition, an internship stipend, and bank interest is seeking advice on the correct Income Tax Return (ITR) form. While ITR 1 might be suitable for minor tuition income, ITR 4 is generally recommended if the tuition earnings exceed a certain threshold, especially when combined with other income sources.

File ITR 1 if tution income is not substantial. Otherwise, ITR 4.

Sir tution income is rs 400000 and interest income is 968
so is it ok to file ITR 1 and report tution income as income from other sources??

Better would be ITR 4.
