I had a query regarding accounting of STCG. My invested 120K in liquid fund in a year. Then I redeemed 50K from the liquid fund. Liquid fund at the end of the year is for 70K plus some stcg gained throughout the year. So my query is how much should I show my investment in liquid fund at 70K or 70K+STCG gained?
