Please can any one tell me the status of employees of Agriculture produce marketing committee (APMC), whether they are regarded as government employees or public sector employees or other employees while filing there return of income

APMC is established & regulatated under APMC Regulation Act 1963. I think employees come under other employees
They claim them self to be government employees, According to them they are controlled and governed by the state government and hence are government employees and hence are eligible for retirement benefits. please confirm there status
They are governed under APMC Regulation Act and rules made if any. Comply with APMC Act provisions.
