Start of new business. gst mandatory or not

I am starting a new business of providing manpower services from my office based in Ahmedabad. Once I start, I may have clients located in other states too and provide manpower services to them in other states too. Do i need to do GST registration from very first day of starting the business or I have heard that it is not necessary to do GST registration till Rs. 20lac turnover. Please confirm whether it is true.

Secondy, do I need to apply immediately once turnover reaches Rs. 20 Lacs and what would be the applicable GST rate for my category of services.

Thirdly, I believe that since this is intangible service, how would buyer of my service get input tax credit, if I charge GST from them.

Please help clarify my queries.

Thanks,
Amar Gandhi

you have transactions out side the state .so u want to registered. tax rate is 18%with full ITC eligible .ITC is claimed when you are registered

1. Yes... It's TRUE... T/O below 20L not required registration under GST. In your View "your clients/your service is inter state and clients are Registered under GST. Am I right...? So, You can run your business to them. They want GST NO from you... What is next step for YOU....?!

2. If you go to Register under GST. Your supply of services is "Man Power Recruitment/Supply Agency Services - 00440060". Tax rate @ 18%.

3. When you get registration you ll issue Taxable Invoices to your clients. They get ITC from your Invoice...
