SSP Portal

I have filed an application for qualification update on the SSP portal. In this I uploaded my graduation degree. I entered the class completion time as 31.03.2016 which is actually the session completion date. My articleship commencement date is 19.02.2016 and my classes of bcom final were completed well before it i.e. by jan 2016, thats why I didnt filed form 112 that time. But due to wrong entry in the profile edit form, portal is now asking me to fill form 112 to get my application approved. Is there any chance that this form gets rejected and I can file a fresh form with the bcom timing changed , so that I need not to file form 112?

Hey Richita! Here's what I understand and suggest about your SSP portal situation:

Your Issue:

  • You entered your class completion date as 31.03.16 (session completion date) instead of the actual B.Com final exam completion date (Jan 2016).

  • Portal now asks for Form 112 (which is for pre-registration training).

  • You didn’t file Form 112 initially because your articleship started before March 16, so technically you didn’t need it.

Can Form 112 get rejected?

  • Yes, if the dates in your qualification update and Form 112 don't align logically, it can be rejected.

  • Form 112 is meant to declare pre-registration training done before articleship, so if your dates are off, the system might flag it.

What can you do?

  1. File a fresh application on SSP portal with the correct B.Com final exam completion date (Jan 2016).

  2. Once corrected, the portal likely won't ask for Form 112 because your articleship started after the correct class completion date.

  3. You might need to contact the SSP helpdesk or ICAI regional office if the portal doesn't allow direct edits.

  4. Keep all your documents ready for verification.

Summary:

  • It's better to correct the dates in the SSP profile and re-upload.

  • Avoid filing Form 112 unnecessarily if you truly didn't have pre-registration training.

  • If Form 112 is submitted wrongly, it may delay approval.
