Dear all,

Due to Covid, all registrars have given general extension for holding AGM at a later date, beyond 30th September, 2020, without each company having to request extension of AGM Due date through form GNL-1.

In such cases, therefore, there will be no SRN generated.

But form MGT-7 requires this information without which the form fails to pass form level checks.

what can be done in this situation?

SRN will be Z99999999 and due date will be 15 months from the last AGM or 31.12.2020 which ever is earlier.

This SRN Z99999999 is not acceptable in case of MGT-7 A. Please guide what can be done in this case

Has the issue of MGT-7A resolved since I also face the same problem.

SRN Z99999999 was used for filing MGT 7A for FY1920 with general extension for all corporates for holding AGM delayed AGM due to covid conditions.

But this year onwards, extended time for holding AGM has to applied for separately by each corporate as usual. And the SRN of that individual application will be used for filing MGT 7A this year onward
