1=> u need 2 give both group for merit list.

2=> u can not give Both Groups until unless u Register for both Groups.so in ur Case u can give Only Group1.  

3=>Orientation Course is 35 Hours Course Conducted by ICAI for Developoment of communication skill & personal skill ( its including Group Discussion,Presentation etc)

4=> First Of all u need to Complete 100 Hrs ITT Course for getting eligible for IPCC exam & u can complete ur Orientation Course after ur attempt but u shoud complete it before date of Result Declaration of IPCC exam ( Otherwise ICAI will hold ur result till completion of Orientation Course)

5=> NO, If ur cleared Atleast IPCC Group1 then only u will be eligible for articleship.....

2nd answer is totally wrong.You hv 2 b registered for both groups during IPCC registration to be able 2 appear for both grps. In this case he is bound 2 appear for 1 grp only as he has registered for 1  grp.

yup...v need to register for both grps b4 filling xam application forms.....if v want to appear for both grps....

The details of IPCC are:

1. Completion of 9 months from date of registration for IPCC.
2. Undergo Information Technology Training (ITT) provided by ICAI itself for 100 Hours.
3. Undergo the Orientation Programme conducted by ICAI for 35 Hours.

• Eligibility Criteria:A student who has passed the CPT and 12th standard examination may join the Integrated Professional Competence Course
• Practical Training: After passing group-I of the course, a student must join a practicing Chartered Accountant for practical training (Articleship). Articleship shall be of 3 years duration (36 months).
• Additionally: In addition to artcileship a student must complete 100 hours of Information Technology Training (ITT) and 35 hours of ‘Orientation Programme’ ITT is to be started after a student registers for IPCC and completed before appearing in Group-I and Group-II of IPCE or Group I / ATE. Orientation Programme is of 4 sessions per day for 35 hours with an ICAI accredited institute.
• Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE): A student will have to appear for the IPCE after fulfillment of following conditions: PCE is conducted twice in a year, May and November.
