under which act proprietorship business running in India? ?

No specific act, but as such it is registered with shop & establishment act, PT act, MSME registration, GST act, etc.... whiever act applicable to the business.

There is no specific Act governing the existence and operations of the business as proprietor in India. However, in order to provide the proof of existence, the registrations such as MSME, GST Registration are taken by the proprietors. Further, mandatory registration such as Shop & Establishment and Professional Tax shall be obtained from local government.
