iam a propreitor of my shop, distributors of food product with currently one agency and current turnover of 50 lakhs, business was started in may 2011 so only 9 months since iam doing business. today my CA paid a visit and was informing abt march that we have to file income tax return. now ive a extended the area of my agency from which the turnover will easily cross 60 lakhs which makes me eligible for audit, P.S this is 5% margin line. :(
so my CA gave me a quote of Rs 60,000 + service tax (30,000 for complete accounts handling + 15000 for sale tax auditing +15000 for income tax auditing)
i see the figure is very high in comparison of my business.
now currently i use a professional distributor software for complete tracking of my sales.
so i need some advice that if i maintain all the accounts will the charges be low, my CA told me that if u maintain al accounts and give me for filing i will charge merely 2000,
so please help me out 60,000 is extremely high please dooo helpp me
