Small business taxes applicable for digital service online?
Hi,
I am going to start a small business, where I will be providing digital documents or pdf’s online for people, and they will buy them. Does that count as a service , and applicable to my service tax payment. Actually the business is very small scale where I only will be involved and monthly turnover will not be that good. In addition to that, the documents or files can be bought by people in other countries also, does that make any other kind of tax or service for me to pay. I am a newbie in this tax system and all such things, please help me understand what kind of tax will I have to pay here and why?

start the business 1st, provide some transacftion to your business then discuss the things, service tax is applicable on such services but only after 10 lacs ...........so enjoy
get a PAN card ( not asking you to pay tax and file return but pan card is a valid id proof for business) and profession tax enrollment for minimum amount, to establish your business start up.
