Invest like SIP in fundamentally good companies.

I agree with Vikash Kumar. 

Staggered way is the way to invest in the share market. Though I would also recommend lumpsum buying at this point when market is below 16K levels. 

But generally, if you do not have in-depth study of the market, better to choose the route of mutual funds wherein you can benefit from professional management, diversification and lower transaction costs.
