Once try to read Nagendra sir summary. it is very short but too much beneficial.

thanks..but i m not in delhi...so can't get those notes

hi there sahil....

Yaar sfm is one of the most simple subject of ca final.actually the problem is how to approach this subject.this subject is made up of 3 parts.first is capital budgeting.second is other topics like forex management, m n a , portfolio management, leasing, derivative.and third is misc..topics.

Now the approach should be to do third topics first.they are small, simple,as they use almost same concept with different names, and doing them covers half of the course so give confidence and biggest of them all they carry around 40 marks.

then do second part.here try to do one topic at a time but try to finish it in maximum 2-3 days,by this you will be able to link and remember the concepts relating to a particular topic.u know the concept is simple.you always forget the thing you read in portions but do remember that you read in one go.

then do capital budgeting as this is the most lengthy questions and if the luck be with you can be left in option now.

but do remember the strategy should be to do course in 70-20-10 way.be sure of 70% course ,then 20 and then 10(which is capital budgeting part).for theory search caclubindia website.lots of files are there.but best is 10 yrs papers.

Declaration :it isnt that capital budgeting is tough, but i prepared it by that way so i put it in 10% catagory.lolzzzzz

to the extent book is concerned trust your tutor and after that purchase reliance compilers.they are solved and are easily available allover.you know one of my friend on caclubindia said its best to dig deeper than dig wider. :)

all the best buddy and koi problem ho to bindass pooch lena

@ Jeetendra and

@ Deejey

Check your respective mail.

I agree with you saharsh.

But chapter like forex management, merger and acquisition, portfolio management, leasing decision and derivatives are the most important and also so difficult.

In my opinion you must take guidance from any one, either your friend or any teacher. If you do self study with your articleship, it will take too much time and it will hamper you other paper preparation.

Hi.. even m preparing for May 11 finals.. so Sangita.. can u pls fwd the notes to me too.. my email id..

abhijit.korgaonkar12 @ gmail.com...

thanks in advance

@ abhijit and Aditya

check your mail.

Hi Sangeeta,

Yaar I agree with you but partially.Actually what I wrote was my own experience.I seriously dont think those topics to be tough.specially leasing, forex, derivatives and portfolio.the basic thing is to understand the concepts. If you have good notes which are available in the market then any one can hit bullseye.its just you have to be analytical while studying these topics.See what has been done and Why it has been done that way.

Hi Sangeeta, pls forward the SFM notes to my e-mail id -  poorva_poorvi @ yahoo.co.in

Thanks in advance.

Hi Sangeeta,my attempt is due in may,can you please forward the notes to duttpreeti @ gmail.com I am finding SFM extremely tricky.thanks in advance
