t think u should go wid Rajesh makkar sir's note......it'll defenitely help u alot....very simple language...yet so conceptual clearity!!!

Rajesh makkar class notes are very good for self study.

Rajesh Makkar is second to none for self study. Since your attempt is in May13 I think following Makkar notes would be very time consuming & one may not be able to devote much time for other papers.

Have you heard about Rajiv Singh? Try his videos, he explains the topics/concepts in an interesting way.

yup dude..i hv heard about rajiv singh..but hvng only 25 videos.

about coaching it depends on us how we utilise it aur coaching karne se kabhi paise waste nahi hote as thoda knowlege tho milta hi hai .......but self study is better option always...u cn refer S.D.Bala its really good book  along with institute material.....

I suggest you Sridhar... u have so much time to well prepartion..

so u do SFM from sridhar.. because in this book cover all past exam question.. so you not required to do practice manual.. and also theory protion are well explain.. in this theory explain as a practicle concept basis..

i also suggest you do all practicle question form module also..because most of time module question are come same in exam.. wish u all the very best for your exam prepartion...

Wish you all the very best.

Regards,

RAJESH CHOUDHARY

@ Poonam - i mean to say about paise waste...jab aapko satisfaction na mile after coaching so its better na ki self study hi kar lete...u knw CA ki coaching me kitna tym lagta hai..early mrng jao n if u nvr get good so frustration aa jati hai.i respect ur opinion.thanx alot

@ rajesh -  dude...i hv already JB Gupta sir book , its also self study n cover all past questions.thanx alot 4 ur suggestion. :)

yeah i can understand that...even i agree that self study is the best option but for some topics which are new like derivatives and forex need someone to guide us but i liked S.D.Bala as its has conceptual clearity but the only problem is that we dont get enough problems for practicing for that u can use institue material.....
