Setting up a Company

Can you also let me know how will the company be impacted if it has its registered office at a person's residential address???

Will such a Company be governed by the Shops and Establishment act, Mumbai?

I am looking to setup a Financial Advisory Company. Will incorporating the company with a resedentila address result in any limitations on the work that can be carried out???

No, It will not be hurdlesome.

As most of the person open compaany in their residebtial address.

However, The residential place must be easy to find out by your client.

Actully, any person can not carry on business in residential place. And those person who are doing this are liable to punishment & fine under the Muncipality act.

As Muncipality charges low taxes from residential property & high amount from the Corporate office.

Electricity Companies also charges low rate for Electricity.

So, I advised you that, If you are broking one rule than broke the another rule also and do not apply for license under Shop & Establishment Act, As It would bring uniformity in lying.

The reason I am looking to register it at a residential address is that, it will be 3-4 months before the business actually starts.....in the mean time I wanted to finish all the procedural work of setting up the company as well....

I want to avoid paying rent for the 3-4 months till business actually commences...obviously I will have to take a commercial place later on....

Didint know that it will be illegal to do such a  thing....

Is there a way to abide by the law and save on money as well???

&

after 4 months comply with the necessary procedure for change of Regd. office from one place to another, within the same city.

 Company Laws does not prohibit a corporate office to be in Residential Area.

No need to change Corporate Registered office, only make another office as place of work if you can afford.

Don't worry too much to do business in India. There are so many act in India that you & the Govt. offices do breach every thing.
