what they r showing in score card?

 

They are saying Fail, but one of my friend's told me that we have inter group set off!

As far as i know setoff benefir is only available when your giving all the modules at a same time.

In your case as you have already cleared your 2nd group in the previous attempt and you gave only 3 modules in December 2013. As a result your are not eligilble for set off.

You have to secure 50% aggregate in each of the modules.

Even i hav the same problem. The total is 312 and didnt get the aggregate in 1st module.

Benefit of set off is applicable for all four modules.... I u have less than four groups ....u have to score 100 in each module in aggregate and 40 in each subject.....

I cleared module 2 on dec 2012 by taking 100(56,44) This dec 2013 Module 1 61 46 - 107 PASS Module 3 50 50 - 100 PASS Module 4 47 47 - 94 FAIL i have got a total of 301 out of 600(>50%) but still module 4 was declared fail im not able to find out the exact reason in web and no details in institute website too many tel that set off applicable only for clearing 4 grps in one sitting but im not able to find any such rules.. Pls find the rule if any or guide me Thanks Srikanth

Can u plz tell me about set off procedures. why my marks of module 1 was not set off with module 2. Also is there any online revaluation method in icsi.  Here is my marksheet:
 

You should gave the all groups in attempt then set off facility available to you....

Ravi as you have failed in DDCCM , the set off benefit will not apply in your case. Set off will be permitted when you have scored minimum of 40 marks in each paper and if your aggregate exceeds 400 marks when you appear in all modules , then any surplus of a particular module will be set off. Therefore, in your case had you scored 40 in DDCCM your 4th module total would have been 100 and there by aggregate of 419. Thus the shortage of 5 marks in first module would be set off from the surplus marks of other modules. In conclusion had you scored 40 marks in DDCCM you would have qualified as a Company Secretary. Bad luck sir.

Jagruti , firstly congratulations in clearing two modules this time. Now coming to your query, I am afraid you are not entitled for set off because such a clause is applicable only to a candidate who in one sitting appears in all the four modules and thereby secures a minimum of 40marks in each subject with an aggregate of 400marks. Thus you are not eligible for set off, better luck in next attempt. Now in June 2014 you need to appear in 4th module. All the best.
