In one of the clients/firms, they might have to pay ST related to AY 2010-11, amounting to about 5k...but they don't have St Registration Number.
Should they obtain the STR# jus for the purpose of VCES, and then make the pmt?

A person intending to make a declaration under VCES has to obtain service tax registration in advance, if not already registered.
(Rule 3 of Service Tax VCES Rules, 2013)
